Summer Backyard Party!

Friday night we were invited to a friend's house for a little summer party.  I love summer backyard parties!  We played some new yard games we've never played before, met some new people which actually is always interesting once you find out how many friends you have in common with people you've never met.  I notice this happens pretty frequently and is kind of funny how that works.  

Rudy, the host, had these awesome things called chinese wishing lights.  They are paper balloons that you ignite and they fill up with hot air, just like a mini hot air balloon.  As soon as the balloon fills up, you can let go and it floats up into the sky.  These are so cool!  It was amazing how quickly they travel.  I am definitely getting some of these.  The whole party was entertained with these for hours, genius idea!

As usual, Mark was with us, Aaron's best bud.  Well the party turned competitive thanks to Aaron and Mark.  They are both extremely competitive with each other.  One will dare the other and they never back away from a dare.  It's almost embarrassing the stuff they come up with such as....

A push up contest... really guys....

Like I said... one does it, so the other one has to try to outdo with more push ups

Keg stands???  Seriously... borderline embarrassing  

And of course Mark has to try to do one for longer than Aaron did one ...

 So ya, I can't take the guys anywhere without them  acting up.  Luckily I don't get embarrassed too easily but every now and then I have to tell them to knock it off.   What's the point of  a keg stand, I mean really?   I've never done one nor have the desire to do such a stupid thing.

Overall we had a pretty fun time and look forward to our next summer backyard invite!
